Abschied von Kuala Lumpur
Ein letztes Mal für diesen KL-Aufenthalt das chinesische Essen der Foodstalls in der Jalan Alor genießen. Zu viert, mit Tilo, dem Hostel-Mitbesitzer und Mo, einer netten Schottin, sind wir losgezogen. Wir hatten bisher jedes mal das Problem, dass wir uns kaum entscheiden konnte, welche Gerichte wir bestellen sollten. Es ist alles so unglaublich lecker! Mit mehreren Leuten, kann man natürlich auch viel mehr Gerichte bestellen. Heute genehmigten wur uns: grilled chicken fish, barbecue chicken, sweat and sour pork, black pepper deer, green beans und green cabbage.
Unsere Homepage ist nun wirklich weit gediehen, morgen werden wir noch die letzten 3-4 Reiseberichte publizieren und die aktuellen Kuala Lumpur Fotos einstellen (Hi Uwe S., Dein Wunsch bezüglich Nachtfotos wurde berücksichtigt!)
Am Donnerstag geht es weiter. Zuerst hatten wir überlegt, noch nach Kota Bharu im Nordosten Malaysias, zu fahren und von dort weiter nach Thailand. Doch da der Osten Malaysias gerade im Monsum ertrinkt, belassen wir es mit der Vorfreude auf den gigantischen Nachtmarkt in Kota Bharu. Wir kommen schließlich während unserer Tour, dank Malaysian Airlines, noch etliche Male nach Kuala Lumpur. Die Reise per Bus und Zug nach Thailand haben wir ebenfalls verworfen. andererseits haben wir hier zum ersten Mal von Air Asia www.airasia.com und ihren Billigflügen gehört. Da konnten wir es uns nicht verkneifen einen Flug nach Phuket zu buchen um von dort nach Krabi weiterzufahren.
Für mich ist genau dies der Unterschied zwischen Urlaub und Reisen: Im Urlaub hat man meist sehr genaue Pläne, was man mit der wenigen Zeit anfangen möchte, auf Reisen macht man nur Pläne, um sie wieder zu verwerfen!

Hallo Ihr beiden,
ich habe ja in den letzten Wochen immer häufiger an Euch gedacht und mich gefragt, wo ihr wohl steckt und wie es euch denn geht. Nun habe ich mich (während ich eigentlich fleißig arbeiten wollte…) bei einem halbstündigen Kurzurlaub auf eurer super-homepage davon überzeugt, dass es euch wohl gut geht. In Berlin regnet es übrigens und es ist, wie mir scheint den ganzen Tag dunkel. Die Wohnung steht noch, alle Pflanzen sind noch am Leben und wir haben auch noch nix wichtiges kaputt gemacht!
